“Yaqoot Asir” is inspired by the Asir Qat, a traditional decorative art that originated in the Asir region in southwestern Saudi Arabia. Also known as Naqsh or Zayan, it is an abstract art based on drawing geometric and floral shapes on the walls of homes from the inside.
Women have been practicing this art for centuries, and it is considered an expression of their identity and creativity. Four basic colors are used in this art: black, red, blue, and yellow.
The Asiri cat is distinguished by its diverse designs, which reflect the natural and cultural environment of the Asir region. Some shapes symbolize nature, such as mountains and trees, while other shapes symbolize daily life, such as animals and plants.
“Asir Ruby” was designed in bright red, which symbolizes nature and is represented by the color of sunset in Asir culture, in addition to walnut wood, to represent Asir culture in a beautiful and contemporary way.
