How do I know if I can use Tamara?

Tamara service is available to all citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates who are over 18 years old

Why was my application rejected?

To accept orders through Tamara, we go through several sequential steps to examine each order. You can review some points that you should pay attention to

Having sufficient funds on your card

Have you settled the previous amounts with Tamara?

The order value is high, try reducing your order value

The number of open orders you have with Tamara. We take into account several factors, including your credit history with Tamara

The number of orders you have paid without delay and the duration of your shopping with Tamara

Your bank card does not support online purchases

The presence of financial problems with one of the banks, telecommunications companies, or entities registered with SIMAH/Al-Ittihad Credit Bureau

You have unpaid amounts with Tamara

Order rejection by our risk program depends on several factors including the value of purchases

Your order amount is higher than the upper limit

If the above reasons do not apply to you, we advise you to try again with a different card


Why did I not find the option to pay via Tamara on the payment page?

First, check your order total

Tamara for 3 classes, the minimum is 99 riyals and the maximum is 8,000 riyals

Tamara for 6 payments, the minimum is 2250 riyals and the maximum is 8000 riyals


Can I purchase without paying the outstanding amounts?

There are several circumstances that may prevent another order from being completed for you with Tamara if there are outstanding amounts

The pending amount relates to your first order through Tamara

The payment period for the pending order has ended and the delay period has begun

Can I pay before the due date?

Yes, you can

Just log in to your account using the Tamara mobile application through (App Store - Google Play) or through the web application, then select the orders you wish to pay for, and then pay easily in any way that suits you.

Can I change the payment card I made previous purchases with?

If automatic withdrawal is not activated for your payment; Yes, you can change the payment card you want to use when making your first payment by logging into your Tamara account, then going to the settings page and choosing payment methods to change the card.

If automatic withdrawal is activated for your payment; The due payments will be automatically deducted from the card linked to your profile. You can change your card after that by logging into your Tamara account, then going to the settings page and choosing payment methods to change the card.

Please note: One card cannot be linked to two different Tamara accounts

How do I know when it's time to make a payment?

When choosing the payment plan to divide the bill into 3 or 6 payments. You will be able to see your payment plan in the last step of the checkout process

You will be reminded in several ways
Your E-mail

  • Short Messages (SMS)
  • Send notifications through the Tamara application

You can also track upcoming payments through Tamara's application

The first payment has been paid, when will I receive my order?

When choosing the “split the bill into 3 or 6 payments” payment plan, the first payment is due upon ordering. Once the first payment is paid, your order will be confirmed and will be shipped to you immediately and in accordance with the store’s policy. If you have any questions or inquiries regarding the payment method, please contact Tamara's customer service team

Are there any late fees if payments are not made?

As long as you make your payments on time, you will never be charged a late fee! If you miss the payment due date, Tamara will impose a late fee of 25 Saudi riyals on the day following the due date. Late fees will be repeated every 15 days of late with the same fee. The fee does not exceed 150 Saudi riyals or 25% of the order value (the minimum of both options will apply)

Please note: If you repeatedly miss payments; Your information will be submitted to the Saudi Credit Information Company (SIMAH), which will affect your credit score, and your Tamara account may be suspended until the full late amount is paid, including the late fees charged.

What if I want to cancel/return my purchase?

Returns and cancellations are subject to the merchant's policies and you may request cancellation/return from the merchant directly.

Cancellation before order ships:

If the selected refund method is linked to your payment account “Bank Card” and the cancellation request is approved by the Merchant, the Merchant will inform Tamara of the update. Tamara automatically updates your payment plan and returns any refunds to you if necessary.

note:

  • It may take a few hours for the update to appear on the Tamara app and only happens after the merchant approves your request to cancel.
  • If Wallet is set as the receipt method for refunds, you will need to pay the refunds in the Wallet to Tamara.

Amounts will be returned for orders that have been paid as follows:

1- Mada cards before 14 days from the date of purchase, and for all credit cards: returns are made immediately.
2- Mada cards, after 14 days from the date of purchase, are returned within 5 working days.

Please note:
The duration for depositing the return amount may vary depending on the card issuing bank and different payment methods and may take up to 21 business days.

How to cancel and return products:

If the payment account “Bank Card” is selected as the method for receiving refunds, once the product is returned to the merchant and the order status is updated, the merchant notifies Tamara of the update, and Tamara automatically makes the necessary adjustments to your account.
If the refunded order has been paid to Tamara, the amount will be refunded within 24 hours from the time the order status is updated. If payment has not yet been made, the payment plan will be automatically adjusted and the total order value and remaining payments will be updated.

Please note:

  • It may take a few hours for the update to appear on the Tamara app and this only happens after Shein approves your request.
  • If Wallet is set as the method for receiving refunds, you will need to pay the refunds in the Wallet to Tamara.

Amounts will be returned for orders that have been paid as follows:

If the related amounts are refunded, how do I update the payment plan on my Tamara account?

The invoice on your Tamara account will be updated automatically once the merchant approves your return/cancellation request and reports the return/cancellation to Tamara. You will receive an SMS from Tamara informing you of these updates and you will receive the refund in your payment account (bank card) within 21 business days.
